Alex has over 10 years of experience in business, media, and marketing. He founded an international Video Marketing Agency (Flow Video) and a multimedia sports bureau (Impact Sports). He is currently the Head of Marketing for Autumn Lake Healthcare, where he runs a team of 8 full-time creatives to service a variety of over 65 healthcare facilities and companies across 5 states.

Alex spent 2016-2021 co-founding and building from the ground up Flow Video — a video marketing agency that served over 150 clients. Alex recruited and managed a team of 9 full-time employees, with offices in Detroit and New Jersey. His expertise is in storytelling and building teams, and he brings years of experience in business management, recruiting, marketing, operations, media production, and business development.
Bio
Alex Scharg is originally from Detroit, Michigan and loved journalism and content at a young age. Alex pursued sports reporting at Michigan State and received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Media Information. He founded a fully-credentialed media group (MSU Impact Sports) that is now integrated with the University's student radio station. He worked for WLNS-TV, WKAR-TV/AM, Spartan Sports Network, and Youth Marketing Connection. He later started freelancing for Fox Sports Detroit and subsequently accepted a job with Rock Ventures — working for Dan Gilbert's media operations team. He left Rock Ventures to open Flow Video — his own video marketing agency. Alex has been the recipient of a Regional Emmy Award, a Telly Award, and has received other prestigious recognitions. He has been a guest lecturer at Wayne State University, Michigan State University, and the Michigan Nonprofit Conference. He currently serves as Head of Marketing for Autumn Lake Healthcare while consulting on the side.
